The island of Malta, nestled between Sicily and the north African coast, is a nation famed for its rich historical past. You’ll find plenty of historic sites related to various rulers including French, British, Moors, Knights of Saint John and the Romans.

The Maltese archipelago is made up of three islands: Gozo, Comino and Malta itself. Malta is the largest of the three islands, and the commercial, administrative and cultural hub. The second largest of the islands is Gozo. This is a more rural area defined by its crafts, tourism, agriculture and fishing. The smallest of the three islands is Comino which is largely uninhabited though you are able to stay there in the one hotel.
